e was right. sometimes she was sick of junketsu’s likings but she couldn’t stop it. maybe any ‘real’ food would make it, too. ❝gotcha❞, she said. ❝i won’t talk about food now or who’s better with it, to be honest. i just eat what i get— that’s all.❞ ryuko wasn’t picky about the food— she ate almost everything what she got.
{ ✗ } ··· “You should really eat things that makes you happy. That underachiever– what was her name, Mako? She would have said the same thing, even if she is a lowly human. They have a few ideals that aren’t so bad, namely revolving around food.”
Aikuro leaned back up, ready to stand, looking down at her. “What would you like to eat, my lady?”
speaking about food— he was totally right. she didn’t eat much and why shall she? but what was the point of this? ❝can’t remember❞, she replied. ❝you won’t go cook something, will you?❞, the female asked out of curiosity. not that she’d mind— e was her husband and kind of appreciated what e did.
{ ✗ } ··· “I could, if you’d like. I’m sure it would be nice to put something real in your stomach that isn’t raw and bloody, don’t you think?”
E leaned forward, resting eir arm on side of the bed, looking down at her. “I’m sure your mother could have the servants or the Sewing Club make something, but I get the feeling whatever they make wouldn’t exactly be worth eating.”
❝if you want a kamui that bad, why don’t you just ask nui? she’d gladly make you one❞, she said. ❝you will feel it by yourself— and you will love it❞, the girl cackled. ❝i’d give you mine but it sewn with the life fibers of my body. it’d kill me if i’d even dare to take it off.❞
with a sigh she leaned back, again e was right. maybe they shall just wait for the perfect time. ❝well then❞, she began, ❝do you have anythin’ else in mind, prince?❞
{ ✗ } ··· A soft noise of regret left eir mouth. Before the restitching of eir mind, e would never be so openly vocal about eir emotions; another side effect of the joy of being stitched by Life Fibers. “Oh, I wish I could. But I am not capable of wearing a Kamui, or even one of Satsuki’s knock-off Goku Uniforms… I am well past the age in which I could conquer them. Adults who are not already infused with Life Fibers are simply devoured by them, my lady. My greatest regret is that I grew up, it seems.”
And then she said it– prince. A joy erupted on eir face, at being called such an endearing name. Even if they were married, Aikuro still considered all Life Fiber beings far, far above em– as they were, since e was but a lowly, naked pig basking in the glory of higher beings e could not even begin to comprehend. “…Nothing that would interest your current thirsts, my lady.” E licked eir lips for a moment, thoughtful, nervous, before– “when was the last time you ate something that wasn’t for Junketsu?”
Eating was rarely a thing e ever saw Ryuko do anymore– it seemed her sustenance matched Junketsu’s, and she only hungered when it did. Perhaps real food would sate her tastes for the time being.
the girl locked eyes with em, not reacting to eir movements but let em. ❝y’ don’t need to envy me teach❞, she said. ❝stop saying shit like that, ya flatter me❞, the girl added with a sarcastic tone. still, even though she was happy about her mother’s job, she still was neutral about it. where did the fun go?
❝i’d rather look if there’s some life to finish— out there in this thing called world.❞ the female didn’t even know if there was still life, be it the nudist beach people who were gone missing. ❝maybe there are still some nudists i wanna guide to hell.❞
{ ✗ } ··· “It’s part of my job to flatter you– and even if it wasn’t, I want to. Besides, I’m being honest– I wish more than anything that I was capable of experiencing the same euphoria that comes from wearing Life Fibers… you’re quite a lucky woman.”
Ah, she wanted to go off and kill things again. Not surprising. “I doubt we will find much at this time of the day, my lady. Besides, isn’t it better to let them live for now– breed like cattle, and harvest later? You have to look towards the future, Ryuko-sama. I am as eager as you to eliminate my former organization, but we must wait for the fruits of their labor to ripen so we can squash it in front of their eyes.” E let out a soft smile in their direction. “Again.”
she shrugged, but shook her head. ❝junketsu’s all right❞, she replied. it was hard for her finding something. since the world was in domination of the life fibers there was nothing she could deal with at the moment. practically nobody she could hurt or kill, nothing she could destroy either.
❝world’s just not like it seems.❞ it was just boring. everything was just boring. she even gave up killing nui, because it was just nonsense. after all, she wouldn’t even dare killing nui after getting brainwashed and it seemed like there was no father in her illusive life. ❝i need fun, entertainment. don’t care what but i’m dying of boredom.❞
{ ✗ } ··· Aikuro looked down at eir arranged wife in sympathy. Even if their relationship was purely platonic, e still cared very deeply for her– eir hand brushed her bangs out of her face, revealing her beautiful, deranged eyes, bloodshot and seeing straight through eir being. “Surely it isn’t that bad. Perhaps boring, yes, but isn’t it stunning, the work your mother has done to this world…? It’s beautiful, being clothed in Life Fibers… I envy you, Ryuko-sama.”
“But enough of that. We need to take care of this little problem of yours.” Eir hand fell to resting at her neck, affectionately. “What do you want to do? We have all the time in the world to do whatever you’d want. And if it’s something that doesn’t exist, I have no doubt your mother can make it happen for her loving daughter.”
for what she had choosen in her life, matoi ryuko (now kiryuin) didn’t chose this. being married with a man was practically different- especially if that person was actually her enemy. what did her mother even think aboout it? but honestly, she didn’t mind and started to get along with her ‘husband’.
it was definitely nothnig romantic neither was it sexual— both had an odd kind of relationship. be it teasing eachother or causing trouble. both aikuro and ryuko began to get inseperable, a thing which made ragyo curling up her lips and finding it amusing. maybe she was expecting more from them— but for one time she seemed to make a good decision on marry them.
❝what’s up, teach?❞, ryuko asked, ❝y’ look like you have a lot of fun today.❞ grabbing eir chin with her thumb and index finger she looked into eir eyes before pulling em back. ❝i’m bored❞, she said, releasing a theatrical sigh. ❝i need entertainment.❞
{ ✗ } ··· It had been a startling, sudden engagement that even Aikuro did not understand– why eir queen decided to couple them together, especially being aware of Nui’s feelings, absolutely confounded em. E especially did not feel worthy of being graced with a bond to such an imposing, destructive, deliciously malevolent girl– but e would not question Ragyo’s judgement.
The largest problem that presented itself first, however, was the e felt no romantic attachment towards Lady Ryuko at all; and it seemed the feeling was mutual. After addressing this, however, the two quickly came to terms that they would never be a romantic couple; that simply wasn’t in their capacity.
After that, things look up; despite their equally twisted personalities, strung high in elation from some of the most sinful deeds thanks to the Life Fibers, they found a kind of almost human comfort in each other’s constant company. “Human” was a loose word for it; neither of them could be considered humans anymore, with all that they had done. But it was the closest they could get to their original selves, even if it was little. And the deep, underlying, still rebellious personality that existed even under the layers of the Life Fibers was absolutely addicted to it– and, in relation, her. Unbeknownst, e kept the only part of emself considered even remotely morally sound alive through these interactions. It kept eir sense intact, and helped em prevent being overwritten by the Life Fibers entirely.
When eir paramour found em sitting in their shared room and dropped down next to em with a dramatic, needy noise of irritation, e immediately turned to her, giving her a sweet smile. “Mmm, I can tell, Ryuko-sama. How may I help you today? Does Junketsu want to feed, or are you looking for something different?” They had already established that Aikuro was not fond of sexual interaction, so e was curious as to what that “something” might be for her.
